The European Disneyland theme park opened its gate?s in 1992 as a partnership between the French authorities and Disney. The park was originally called Euro Disney; it later changed its name to Disneyland Resort Paris.

The resort is split up into two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios.

After you enter Disneyland Park you arrive at Town Square with an amazing view of Sleeping Beauties Castle, you can travel to any other part of the park from here. If you are looking for souvenirs then town square is the place to buy them. There is also a bureau de change.

Main Street USA has the look and feel of an early 20th century American street. You can travel in a horse-drawn tram or in a vintage American car. Main Street is also where parades pass through, be sure to pick your spot early as it can become hard for little children to enjoy the spectacle from the back of the crowd.

Frontierland is the old Wild West come to life. You can enjoy a steak at one of the restaurants; take a trip on the Rivers of the Far West aboard the steamboat Mark Twain or the riverboat Molly Brown. You can also take a train ride round the park.

Adventureland allows you to experience far away places from Africa to Asia, tropical islands of the South Pacific to the Caribbean. This is a place where your imagination can run wild as all the Disney places you know and love come to life. Head down to Skull Rock for an adventure on Captain Hooks Galley or take a trip to Agrabah where Disney?s Aladdin is brought to life. Take a high-speed ride through ancient ruins on the adventure that is Indiana Jones & the Temple of Peril.

Fantasyland is a truly memorable place where all the classic Disney characters come to life. Enter through Sleeping Beauties Castle to a magical world of fairytales.

Discoveryland is a futuristic place of imagination. Take a trip from the Earth to the Moon the future on Space Mountain. The imagination Institute is where you can experience life in a different dimension in Honey I Shrunk the Audience be prepared for a few surprises.
